This is an image i did for my humanities class i was supposed to do a piece on my culture so i added a tatoo ,dia de los muertos and aztec theme to it . it is about self sacrafice and accepting change regardless of what it looks like. in other cultures the snake is usually evil but in aztec culture they have a god called Quetzalcoatl he also abolish human sacrifice and allow only the future sacrifice of snakes, flowers and small birds. he is kind of a yin and yang for the aztecs representing death and rebirth.
